PASSING ON THE FAITH
  Children from Bradford Catholic Primary Schools gathered at St.Winefride's Church, Bradford. On Thursday November 27th to celebrate the fourth year of Bishop Arthur's Come and See program. Maureen Cairns ( Head Teacher of St Winefride's Catholic Primary), paid tribute to the Bradford Catholic Deputy Heads Partnership who organised the event and prepared the children to deliver an inspiring Liturgy of song, dance, prayer and drama based on the theme-"Passing on the Faith".
The schools taking part were; St. Walburga's, St. Joseph's (Bingley), St. John the Evangelist, St.William's, St. Joseph's Keighley, The Sacred Heart school Ilkley, St.Joseph's (Bradford),Our Lady of Victories and St.Winefride's.
An uplifting and child-friendly homily was given by Fr.Ken Hawley who told the children "You have achieved a level of excellence here today and the wonderful way you have passed on your faith to each other is a joyous step along your Faith journey. More >>

  St. Mary's School, Menston welcomed a very special guest into school last week.
